My brother-in-law made a black-hose setup for the side of a lean-to roof that heats his hot tub. It's an off-grid thing but he's in Nevada and in the winter they still get a lot of sunshine and the water in that black hose becomes nice and toasty.

There are so many little things like that to keep folks going, but it will be the ones who never think along those lines who cause trouble for others because when your family is starving, you'll do desperate things.
I found a solar power generator on sale. 2500kw. It was 80% off, so I figured what the hell. It will at least power small stuff. Maybe the fridge for a short period of time.

Yes, something like that. I could use one to power our well if rural water went down.

The wife and I are travelers, snowbirds, if you will. And we are currently in a safe harbor. We have a 40' diesel pusher with 1k of solar and an 8000 watt Onan/Cummings diesel generator. The solar can run everything but A/C. No issues here.

What will you do when there is no diesel?
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

Enjoy our lives and be grateful for those things we do have. We will be living like millions of others who have no fuel. I'll leave the misery for those who love it so much, leftists.

We’ve put our snowbirding plans next winter on hold. The price of diesel has made it cost prohibitive. . It’s about $300.00 + a day just for fuel.

Back up generators may not be affordable with the price of fuel these days. It takes fuel to run those things.

The alternate-power people are serious about their goals and ways to achieve those goals. However, just watch how they will force us into using less power while the places they live use enough to power a small third-world country.

They want us to suffer, but feel they themselves should not experience that same suffering. They ARE the Elite, after all.

Don't give up!! We had bad timing. Buying a motorhome in February, in Arizona, we never considered Bite Me would cause the sudden and dramatic rise in fuel costs. So now we stay parked. We're planning on another trip to Arizona boondocking all the way. Anyway, don't give up on your plans. You can make it happen!!

The coming power misery is brought to you by the environmentalist kooks and their fellow travelers.
