    Thinly veiled socialism

Summer Lee--who won her bid for Congress recently, in PA-12--candidly called for a "redistribution of wealth," and "reparations."

Of course, neither is likely to happen.

But it disgusts me that this is now labeled "progressive"--as if it were a sign of genuine progress--when it once would have been known as socialist (or even Marxist).

I strongly believe that these tactics need to be called out for what they are and loudly. Sure we might reduce the term "socialist" to a meaningless , watered down insult. But that hasn't stopped them from labeling every move opponents make as racist.

    The left keeps doing this.

FDR was elected as a progressive. But the political label was wearing thin, too many negatives associated with it, so he decided to glom onto liberal. That left many liberals scrambling to differentiate, so new labels were created, like classical liberal, libertarian.

In the last year or so, the far left, the socialists, like Sanders, AOC, etc, realized that label was getting negative, so they glomed onto progressive, leaving liberal for the more moderate left.

This is 4 years of pure hell under Biden. 2024 cannot come fast enough.

These little idiots won't matter once they loose the House and Presidency and probably the Senate.

But Republicans need a Speaker that will do something. We squandered our last chance when we held Congress and the White House.
