Some stereotypes are mostly wrong. Some stereotypes are mostly correct. Nevertheless, all stereotypes are based on statistical data and thus they have exceptions.
For example, in general women are much more likely to take offense then men. Thus there are not enough men to cancel those who say offensive things about men in general. But that does not mean that no man takes offense.

Strangely, a man who is not masculine in one way can be hypermasculine in another way. Men and women are equally intelligent, but in general women have higher EQ then men. Aspies, like myself, have lower EQ then most non-Aspie men.
