Why such variance in viewpoints? To begin with, different theological camps disagree on which books should be included in the Bible. One camp’s apocrypha is another’s scripture.

we can say that polygamy is allowed in the Old Testament, that countless Prophets and pious men practiced it. If the ban had been a divine ordinance, then it is astonishing that the most prestigious of men in the Bible practiced it.
The most significant issue with all Abrahamic religious scripture is that it has to be examined within the context of all the information that has become available since the 19th century, when Sumerian, Akkadian/Assyrian/Babylonian, Hieroglyphic, and archaic Levantine writing systems were not only discovered but transliterated.

What we have found is that the original elements of the Hebrew Bible originate with stories that go back to the Sumerians, long before Judaism begins to emerge (Noahs Ark, Tower of Babel, Garden of Eden, etc..).

The Sumerian religion was practiced by a now-extinct (at least culturally) non-Semitic people, who are the source of the original writing system, and had a system of religion, temple worship, offerings, and divination that is adopted through-out the middle east and levant - we find its traces throughout the Hebrew Bible, along with pre-Abrahamic religious practices that are often denied or ignored both in ancient times and today.

King Saul's son is named Esh-Baal for instance, which is concealed as Bosheth ('shame') in most Hebrew bible verses retroactively, since it is sort of inconvenient to the claim of monotheism that the son of the first King is named after a (now) pagan god-head, Baal.

The authoritative stories claiming to tell the story of human origin were the reason that the OT was adopted into Christianity in the first place,
because without the elements of the creation story, it would have been viewed by the Roman Empire target audience population as relating to the crucifixion of a man who was killed in their own lifetimes, using a method that they were all familiar with seeing.

The stories in the Quran, OT and Christian Bible all have impossible stories and inconsistencies, because they were all written, assembled and recorded by humans with their own agendas and information sources. The difference in the three literary claimants to Abrahamic origin is to found in the words of Jesus in the Christian bible vs the stories of the Koran and OT.

He answered, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
“You have answered correctly,” Jesus said. “Do this and you will live.”
But wanting to justify himself, he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
This passage in my view is the crux of the division between the three belief systems.
While both Judaism and Islam have provisions advising their adherents to show charity to strangers or those in need, they also have legal systems that are incorporated into the belief system's that allow special controls, taxation, repression to be placed upon those who reside in lands subject to their law, and limit who is considered a 'neighbor' when their own religious law is the actual controlling system of that land.

Within Christianity, the story that Jesus offers indicates that we are all neighbors, and should treat each other justly, which is the basis for how humans prosper and live in peace with one another.

"Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing, they do not hear, neither do they understand."

    Your words are incorrect

    Bible
    Old and New Testament

If these are really God's words, why didn't God keep them forever

    Evidence proves this
The fact is there are 40,000 Christian sects. We can fill a football stadium with Christians, every one of them can have different beliefs. Every one of them calling themselves Christian. Every one of them having Different beliefs then you.
Can you not wrap your head around how insane this is?

How anyone can argue the Bible is not changed today is amazing honestly. Seriously, they literally continue to change it even today!

Consider the prophets, some who actually spoke to God, committing incest and worshiping idols.

“’How can you say, “We are wise, for we have the law of the LORD,” when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely? (Jeremiah 8:8)

    20,000 changes!!
Why do you chose to live in denial? What does the Bible say about bearing false witness?
we are at a point where Biblical scholars say the Bible is changed.

Indeed the Bible remains but how much of it is original? I can personally guarantee God did not give the Jews permission to lend on interest.

While whats in it that is original, how much of that is ignored? Such as 32 separate verses forbidding the consumption of pork?

How about all those verses where Jesus says he can do nothing but still you ascribe divinity to him?
90 Biblical verses refute your core beliefs Red. God is not the author of confusion.

Im not surprised . Go back to 300 AD and the council of Nicea declared the prophet Jesus to be god incarnate. Shouldering right up with other pagan, 3 in 1 faiths in the vicinity.

This was the day when the devil took the reigns.. So why would i be surprised that 1700 years later there are more then 2000 Bibles?

Wanna hear something interesting ? Did you know Jews are allowed to pray in a masjid... But are forbidden to pray in a church?

. Jews consider you pagan and thier prayers to the God of Abraham would not be accepted if offered in a church.

Facinating. Isnt it? Kinda like you with your Christmas tree while the Bible calls it futile.

People hear what they want to.

The Bible has been changed and changed and mistranslation are 2 completely different things. Don't the 10 commandments forbid lying? Why is it that so many Christians try to deceive? Honestly it is changed even today as we live and breathe.

The truth is you worship a man who is constantly referred to as prophet in your book. A man who literally cried to God to save him in your book. A man who literally worshiped God in your book.

There are no changes in the Quran and we all know it.

We literally have 1400 year old Quran's to verify it, not to mention its always been an oral tradition. Millions today can recite the Quran cover to cover from MEMORY and it has always been this way.

I frequently point out all those who hate Islam today can't find the ability to change a single letter. Look at China, a nation of a BILLION. They have went on record saying they will write there own Quran and this was how many years ago? Where is it?

And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful. (2:23 Quran)

1400 years and many haters of Islam have lived and died. Where is their Quran? Why do we only have one Quran today?
Why has EVERY generation failed to produce one surah

To this day there is one Quran. In the original language that it was revealed in.

Indeed God has claimed in the Quran kareem that He himself protects it and we see the proof of this today.

    (9) Indeed, it is We who sent down the message [i.e., the Qur’ān], and indeed, We will be its guardian.

    Quran) سورة الحجر - Al-Hijr

Compare this to the 20,000 changes!! in Bibles today. So many you yourself have to select specific versions.

If we examine the history of Christianity, we see that the words of Jesus were enacted in bloody reality many times - from when a major political rebellion against the Roman Catholic Church took a religious turn - leading to the split in European Christianity between Catholics and Protestants. This split sparked a series of religious wars that were ultimately to be responsible for the deaths of almost a third of the entire white race.

When it comes to talking about the violence of the sacred texts, the hypocrisy is brought to a head by Christians. Their doctrine claims that their book is filled with Love, that their teachings are filled with Love, and that their divinity is Love. Now we will see the myth behind this design and remind them of the famous Christ saying:

Why do you see the straw that's in your brother's eye, and don't you see the beam that's in your eye?

    (Matthew 7,3)

Here are the “10 commandments of biblical Jihad”

    1) Prepare for war!
    2) Cursed be he who takes his sword away from the Carnaaaaaaaaage!
    3) Slay the enemy to the last: "Kill them wherever you find them"!
    4) Do not spare women, old people, oxen, sheep and donkeys!
    5) But take the Loot from time to time ...
    6) Rape the little girls of enemies!
    7) Don't forget to burn the city down after that!
    8) The javelin verse!
    9) The verse of the stone!
    10) The verse of the ax, the harrows, the saws!

The wisdom behind the tax/jizyah paid by non-Muslims to the Islamic state was fairness. This is for two reasons:

First, Muslims were paying zakah (the annual charity) to the Islamic state, which was used for all sorts of services and social welfare. Zakah is an Islamic act of worship, but it is only for Muslims. It was fair to make non-Muslim citizens of the same state pay a similar (in fact, smaller) amount as a tax, since zakah is not taken from them as it is taken from Muslims.Jizyah was calculated in different ways throughout different eras (a certain amount of money, certain percentage of the crops, etc), but it was consistently less than the zakah, which every Muslim had to pay anyway.

In addition to that, this tax was paid in exchange of protection of these non-Muslim communities (i.e., military protection) and exemption of their men from joining the Islamic army.

    https://archive.islamonline.net/706

Why do non-muslims have to pay Jizyah tax under Islamic ...

The Islamic history attests as well that Muslims made reconciliation with the people of Nuba at the time of ‘Abdullah ibn Abi al Sarh which conditioned the exchange of gifts every year between the two parties. Muslims also made reconciliations with the people of Cyprus during the reign of Mu’awiyyah ibn Abi Sufyan on the condition of maintaining neutrality and mutual taxes paid by the visitors of one country to another. The fact is that non Muslims who reside in Muslim countries are considered as legal citizens for more than 100 years

now and they are recruited in the military and contribute their share of defending their homelands and therefore are not eligible to pay jizyah according to the sound juristic opinion of renowned scholars. Thus the accurate understanding of the non Muslims from the juristic perspective is that they are citizens and not people of Dhimma.

When it comes to the concept of jizyah, it was not meant to be paid by non Muslims as sort of punishment for not embracing Islam or a grace conferred on them for keeping their life intact. This fact was reiterated by Sir Thomas Arnold in his book “The Call to Islam” in which he states “This tax was not imposed on the Christians, as some would have us think, as a penalty for their refusal to accept the Muslim faith, but was paid by them in common with the other dhimmis or non-Muslim subjects of the states whose religion precluded them from serving in the army,

in return for the protection secured for them by the arms of the Musalmans. When the people of Hirah contributed the sum agreed upon, they expressly mentioned that they paid thisJizyah on condition that 'the Muslims and their leader protect us from those who would oppress us, whether they be Muslims or others.' (Sir Thomas Arnold, Call To Islam, pp. 79-81)

The Christ approved the payment of the Tax that the Jews were paying to the Romans and ordered it

Paying the Imperial Tax to Caesar

15 Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. 16 They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians. “Teacher,” they said, “we know that you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are. 17 Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay the imperial tax[a] to Caesar or not?”

18 But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, “You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? 19 Show me the coin used for paying the tax.” They brought him a denarius, 20 and he asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?”

    21 “Caesar’s,” they replied.

Then he said to them, “So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

22 When they heard this, they were amazed. So they left him and went away.

Although the Jews used to pay the tribute to the Romans while they were humble, indicating their submission to the rule of the Romans, the authority of the Romans, and the subjugation of the Romans, Paul also ordered the payment of the tribute.
    "
    Romans 13:6-7

6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

    Does God rest?

The Bible says that: God had finished the work by the seventh day; so on the seventh day he rested, the seventh day is holy because on it God rested from all the work,

God had finished the work by the seventh day, so on the seventh day he rested

    Genesis 2:2
For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

The Lord abstained from work and rested.

    Exodus 31:17

Expressions like tired, weak, or in need of rest and fatigue are among general practice of human beings. Fatigue is partially due to the accumulation of lactic acid in the muscles.

It is well known that balancing work and rest is the proper way to combat fatigue.

Researchers noticed the effect of Rest periods on productivity.

Post-exercise fatigue is the way you feel after typical enthusiastic exercises. Proper rest leads to improved performance of the muscles.

This is applicable for man and vertebrates but not for all the creatures.

Also, this is not applicable for some components inside our bodies.

    Example of Non-Resting creatures:

Sciences say that many creatures do not rest at all e.g., the heart, the red cells, the white cells, the platelets, the Bacteria, the Fungi, the Sun etc

The Sun does not rest at all.

The heart does not rest at all.

The red cells, the white cells, the platelets do not rest at all.

Bacteria do not rest at all.

Fungi do not rest at all.
    .
    Now, the Question is:

How come that many creatures do not rest while the Almighty Creator Rest?

It is the Quran which answered this question more than 1400 years ago.

Does God rest in the Qur’an?

Now let us go to the Quran to Rest the Lord's case in respect to the question does the Lord Rest?

The Quran says: Rest assured, the god does not Rest and He never ever Rest

    Allah is not like us.

No one is similar to Allah.

    Surah 42:11

SHAKIR: the originator of the heavens and the earth; he made mates for you from among yourselves, and mates of the cattle too, multiplying you thereby; nothing like a likeness of him; and he is the hearing, the seeing

PICKTHAL: the creator of the heavens and the earth. he hath made for you pairs of yourselves, and of the cattle also pairs, whereby he multiplieth you. naught is as his likeness; and he is the hearer, the seer.

YUSUFALI: (he is) the creator of the heavens and the earth: he has made for you pairs from among yourselves, and pairs among cattle: by this means does he multiply you: there is nothing whatever like unto him, and he is the one that hears and sees (all things).

They dispute concerning Allah, and Allah is far beyond your thoughts and imaginations.

If we get tired, Allah does not.

If we rest, Allah does not

If we get sick, Allah does not

If we die, Allah does not

    Surah 13:13

SHAKIR: and the thunder declares his glory with his praise, and the angels too for awe of him; and he sends the thunderbolts and smites with them whom he pleases, yet they dispute concerning Allah, and he is mighty in prowess

PICKTHAL: the thunder hymneth his praise and (so do) the angels for awe of him. he launcheth the thunderbolts and smiteth with them whom he will while they dispute (in doubt) concerning Allah, and he is mighty in wrath.

YUSUFALI: nay, thunder repeateth his praises, and so do the angels, with awe: he flingeth the loud-voiced thunder-bolts, and therewith he striketh whomsoever he will..yet these (are the men) who (dare to) dispute about Allah, with the strength of his power (supreme)!

    Allah never ever rest.

    Surah 50:38

SHAKIR: and certainly We Created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six periods and there touched us not any fatigue

PICKTHAL: and verily We Created the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in six days, and naught of weariness touched Us.

YUSUFALI: We Created the heavens and the earth and all between them in six days, nor did any sense of weariness touch Us

The Holy Qur’an speaks only about scientific facts not myths so the researcher must know that the discovered scientific fact which is a miracle in Qur’an or Sunnah should not be known when Qur’an was descended. On the other hand we have to know that there are many known facts in Qur’an from past times like benefits of honey which is a known fact from thousands of years, but He Almighty included this fact in the Holy book of Qur’an as a proof that this book includes only right facts because people during years of civilizations used to mix facts with myths and legends. Therefore if Qur’an is a human made, we might find mixes of right and wrong facts inside it.

We have to know that the one who descended Qur’an is the same one who created universe who is Allah Almighty, so it is impossible that Allah create things in a way and to tell us about these things in a different way in His book.

    Therefore, we will find a complete conformance between scientific facts and the Qur’an if we understood both of them in the right way. Hence, if the science is in conformance with the verse so science is right and if not the science is definitely wrong. He Almighty says: (Do they not then consider the Qur’an carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradiction.){Sûrat An-Nisâ’- The Women-verse82}

The strongest evidence that the Quran is not (and will not be) distorted is that Allaah The Exalted challenged His creation to produce the likes of it; then He challenged them to produce ten chapters only and finally challenged them to produce even a single chapter. Today, this challenge remains open. If the Quran is fabricated, why can they not even produce a single chapter and defeat their enemy?

Dr. Yoshihide Kozai is Professor Emeritus at Tokyo University, Hongo, Tokyo, Japan, and was the Director of the National Astronomical Observatory, Mitaka, Tokyo, Japan. He said:

“I am very much impressed by finding true astronomical facts in [the] Quran, and for us the modern astronomers have been studying very small pieces of the universe. We’ve concentrated our efforts for understanding of very small part. Because by using telescopes, we can see only very few parts [of] the sky without thinking [about the] whole universe. So, by reading [the] Quran and by answering to the questions, I think I can find my future way for investigation of the universe.”

Professor Tejatat Tejasen is the Chairman of the Department of Anatomy at Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand. Previously, he was the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the same university. During the Eighth Saudi Medical Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Professor Tejasen stood up and said:

“During the last three years, I became interested in the Quran . . . . From my study and what I have learned from this conference, I believe that everything that has been recorded in the Quran fourteen hundred years ago must be the truth, that can be proved by the scientific means. Since the Prophet Muhammad could neither read nor write, Muhammad must be a messenger who relayed this truth, which was revealed to him as an enlightenment by the one who is eligible [as the] creator.

16 I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.
    2 Chronicles 7:16

It is clear and understandable that the unlimited God is impossible to limit or circumscribe anywhere.

God does not bind himself in the templeBecause Christ indicated the place of God in heaven

In fact, the Bible states that God has a specific dwelling place, which is the heavens.

A prayer for King Solomon in which he says:

“43 then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Do whatever the foreigner asks of you, so that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your own people Israel, and may know that this house I have built bears your Name.
    1 Kings 8:43

When Jesus Christ taught his disciples how to pray,
'Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.
    Matthew 6:9

After Christ’s resurrection, he ascended “to heaven itself, now to appear before God,” the Bible states.—Hebrews 9:24.

24 For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence.

The story of the Temple is just lies, written by the scribes of the "Bible",
They attributed this fabricated story to God.

This is for the benefit of the Jews for their occupation of Jerusalem

Considering that their king will not be completed except by the return of that alleged temple.

There is no reliable source that proves that Solomon, peace be upon him, built this temple

    And also
Why did the Holy Quran not speak of the Temple? If he is of such sanctity and majesty that the Jews mention?!

How come readers of the Quran know that ants speak, when it was revealed 1,400 years ago? Muhammad couldn't read or write.

That's because it was revealed to him. Despite being illiterate, he was revealed this information from Allah. There is a Surah called Al-Naml which means The Ants.

The verse in the Quran goes like, [Quran 27.18] Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said (for females), "O ants, enter your homes so that you do not be crushed by Solomon and his soldiers while they do not feel it."

“All male ants have wings. All worker ants are females. All ants that don't have wings are definitely females. This was only known recently. But 1400 years ago the Quran addressed ants who cannot fly in the female mode:

For the word "said": Kala (قال) is for males. Kalat (قالت) is for females. The Quran used Kalat (female).

If this ant had wings it would have flown off however it didn't have this option, instead it's only option was to hide underground. Since it didn't have wings then this was definitely a female ant. Here the Quran correctly addressed this ant in the female mode.”

This is truly an amazing thing that was in the Quran ,as ants communicate with each other, such as to warn another, presented in this verse.

Why is there an increasing trend of converts to Islam worldwide?

How, why and when did you convert to Islam?

I converted to Islam last year's summer.

I decided to become religious because I had frightening questions about the afterlife…but the problem was, which religion?

It all started thanks (yeah, thanks!) to the so called “critiques of Islam". They would go on and on saying that the Qur'an is evil, Muhammad was a warmonger etc, etc.

Now, I like to consider myself an intellectually honest person so I visited both anti-islamic and Islamic sites. The Islamic sites used very basic knowledge to completely debunk anti-islamic arguments which left me impressed, to say the least.

(I am 100% Italian btw, but I've never really found Christianity appealing. Islam on the other had a natural fashion.)

I bought and read a translated Qur'an, in which there were useful notes with historical context and studies done on certain statements of the Qur'an.

That's how I got to know more about the purest form of islam and it's scientific, historical and mathematical miracles.

That really left me wondering, how could a man from 1400 years ago know such things?! Things like “it's the female bee that makes honey” and much, much more. (I suggest you to look into these things deeper)

I started looking for errors, and I obviously found countless claims by anti-islamic sites (such as wikiislam)… but they didn't really penetrate into my heart and most of the times were lacking of solid arguments ( the rest of the times the Arabic words they used as “proof for errors” had many more meanings that changed between translation and translation, so it didn't really make sense either). I looked more into the life of the prophet pbuh (to be sure I looked both into reliable Muslim AND non-muslim sources) and found out many heartwarming things, which the islamophobes would call “propaganda” or “taqqiya”, words of which they don't know the real meaning… especially if said by a non-muslim!

I integrated that knowledge with studies done by respectable figures such as Dying to win by Robert Pape (I suggest you to look into that as well)

    I decided then to convert.

Wasn't it for “islamophobia” I would have never been a Muslim today.

And I pray God to let me die as a believing and practicing muslim, inshallah.

Muhammad ibn (son of) Abdullah ibn (son of) Abdul Mutalib, was born on 12 Rabi 'Awwal in the year 570 C.E. (Christian Era) in Makkah, (today: Saudi Arabia) and he died in 633 C.E. in Yathrib (today: Madinah, Saudi Arabia)

In Arabic the word prophet (nabi) is derived from the word naba which means news. Thus we deduce that a prophet spreads the news of God and His message, they are in a sense God’s ambassadors on earth. Their mission is to convey the message to worship One God. This includes, calling the people to God, explaining the message, bringing glad tidings or warnings and directing the affairs of the nation. All the prophets were anxious to convey God’s message sincerely and completely and this included the last prophet, Muhammad. During his final sermon Prophet Muhammad asked the congregation three times whether he had delivered the message, and called on God to witness their answer, which was a resounding “yes!”.

As well as the essence of their call to One God, another accepted sign of the truth of the prophets is how they live their lives. The accounts of Prophet Muhammad’s life that we have inherited from our righteous predecessors illustrate that Muhammad’s Prophethood was guided by God from the very beginning. Long before, Prophethood Muhammad was being prepared to guide humankind to the straight path and his life experiences stood him in good stead for such a weighty mission. Then at the age of 40 when Prophethood was bestowed upon him, God continued to support and affirm his mission. Any account of Muhammad’s life is filled with examples of his exemplary character; he was merciful, compassionate, truthful, brave, and generous, while striving solely for the rewards of the Hereafter. The way Prophet Muhammad dealt with his companions, acquaintances, enemies, animals and even inanimate objects left no doubt that he was ever mindful of God.

Muhammad’s birth was accompanied by many so called miraculous events and the talk of the extraordinary events no doubt functioned as signs of Prophethood,

Special but not unique circumstances surrounded childhood of Prophet Muhammad and these undoubtedly had a bearing on his character. By the time he was eight years old he had suffered through the death of both his parents and his beloved grandfather Abdul Muttalib. He was left in the care of his uncle and great supporter Abu Talib. Thus even as a young boy he had already suffered great emotional and physical upheaval. Both the many chroniclers of Muhammad’s life and the Quran acknowledge his disrupted life.

Did He not find you (O Muhammad) an orphan and gave you a refuge? (Quran 93:6)

Muhammad’s uncle Abu Talib was poor and struggled to keep his family fed, thus during his adolescence Muhammad worked as a shepherd. From this occupation he learned to embrace solitude and developed characteristics such as patience, cautiousness, care, leadership and an ability to sense danger. Shepherding was an occupation that all the prophets of God we know of had in common. ‘…The companions asked, “Were you a shepherd?” He replied, “There was no prophet who was not a shepherd.”’[1]

In his teens Muhammad sometimes travelled with Abu Talib, accompanying caravans to trade centres. On at least one occasion, he is said to have travelled as far north as Syria. Older merchants recognized his character and nicknamed him Al-Amin, the one you can trust. Even in his youth he was known as truthful and trustworthy. One story that is accepted by most Islamic scholars and historians is the account of one of Prophet Muhammad’s trips to Syria.

The story goes that the monk Bahira foretold the coming Prophethood and counselled Abu Talib to “guard his nephew carefully”. According to biographer Ibn Ishaq, as the caravan in which Prophet Muhammad was travelling approached the edge of town, Bahira could see a cloud that appeared to be shading and following a young man. When the caravan halted under the shadow of some trees, Bahira “looked at the cloud when it over-shadowed the tree, and its branches were bending and drooping over the apostle of God until he was in the shadow beneath it.” After Bahira witnessed this he observed Muhammad closely and asked him many questions concerning a number of Christian prophecies he had read and heard about.

The young Muhammad was distinguished among his people for his modesty, virtuous behaviour and graceful manners, thus it was no surprise for his companions to see him, even as a youth many years before Prophethood, shun superstitious practices and keep away from drinking alcohol, eating meat slaughtered on stone altars or attending idolatrous festivals. By the time he reached adulthood Muhammad was thought of as the most reliable and trustworthy member of the Meccan community. Even those who concerned themselves with petty tribal squabbles acknowledged Muhammad’s honesty and integrity.

Muhammad’s virtues and good moral character was established from a young age, and God continued to support and guide him. When he was 40 years old Muhammad was given the means to change the world, the means to benefit the whole of humanity
