If the Bible is so hopelessly self-contradicted, why did Islam plagiarize it?

    I told you already

It is naive to say that Islam is a combination of Jewish and Christian information

The Torah and the Bible were devastating
In terms of doctrine and scientific errors

So why the Prophet Muhammad did not quote scientific errors from the Bible too!

Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was illiterate
He does not know how to read and does not know how to write
Therefore, he did not quote anything from any civilization

The Jews tried to kill the Prophet Muhammad, the Prophet Jesus and other prophets, peace be upon them, just to spread the religion of God, which acknowledges the oneness of God
The Jews did not tolerate any prophet who violated their corrupt law

the Prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him,
He did not agree with the Jews and the Christians in their beliefs and actions that are contrary to the law of God

    the Bible
It was later translated into many languages, but it was only a thousand years after the advent of the Prophet that it was adapted into Arabic. So even supposing that he knew how to read and write his native language, we could not validly demand of him that he be bilingual or polyglot, that he handle Hebrew, Greek, Latin, Syriac, the Coptic or the Gothic and let him hide it with such great dexterity from the eyes of the whole world.

The Qur’an contains the events of the past, present and future
The only possible answer is that God is inspired.to the Prophet Muhammad Peace be Upon Him

That's because Arabic hasn't been around as long as other written languages.

I will also point out just one example of the Quran being historically inaccurate.

He [Allah] said, "We have tempted thy people since thou didst leave them. The Samaritan has led them into error." Then Moses returned ...
they [the Israelites] said, "... and we cast them [(gold) ornaments], as the Samaritan also threw them, into the fire." (Then he brought out for them a Calf, a mere body that lowed; and they said, "This is your god, and the god of Moses, whom he has forgotten." ...) ...
Moses said, "And thou, Samaritan, what was thy business?" ...
    -- Sura 20:85-88, 95 (Arberry, slightly adapted)
The only problem here is that Samaria didn't exist at the time of Moses.

I'm not really interested in getting into an argument where we trade nitpicks of each other's sacred scriptures. I'm not a Biblical inerrantist. I believe the Bible is inspired by God, written by man, and is subject to man's fallibility. However, the Bible and its translations today are pretty much what was written down from the beginning. We have a continually increasing collection of manuscripts that attest to this. The same can likely be said for the Quran.

So I don't believe the Quran is perfect in any sense at all. I think it is a bad copy of the Old and New Testament, written from 550-2100 years after the Bible. I see no logical reason to take an account of events written so much later than the original as being more accurate, without evidence, which the Quran and Islam at large cannot provide.

Samaria exist at the time of Moses.

The sayings of scholars, which prove the veracity of the Qur'an

    https://www.islamic-awareness.org/qu...samaritan.html

Ignorant of the Samaritans' own version of their history as well as recent scholarly investigation and critical analysis, the claims made by William St. Clair Tisdall continue to dominate Christian literature on the subject. Unfortunately, Tisdall was also not fully cognizant with the Chronicles of the Samaritans or the extant archaeological evidence; consequently, the missionaries and apologists make claims contrary to recent historical investigation. As we observed in this study, the Qur'anic mention of the name al-Samiri sometimes translated as "the Samaritan" (Qur'an 20:85, 87 and 95) is consistent with modern investigations into the origins of the Samaritan sect.

The book of God never changes, and no one is allowed to add or delete from it, and this is what happened to the Bible, as it is not the true words of God now

There were no manuscripts until the beginning of the second century
manuscripts was the size of a small card

How do we care about a book that has no origin?

Even today's manuscripts are of dubious authenticity, and each manuscript is not identical to the other

    Christ spoke the Aramaic language

However, you will not find the original source of the Bible as a reference for Christians in the Aramaic language, but only translations in different languages such as Greek and other languages. You do not have a reliable and original source to correct the mistakes of the writers and the incorrect translation.

The Bible was not recorded directly
    But
After 300 years after the Prophet Jesus, peace be upon him

    Bible verses are written down

    Without trustworthy witnesses

Because they were not present at the time of Jesus, peace be upon him

Even the Old Testament was written down

One thousand years after the death of the Prophet moses peace be upon him

Jesus did not write the bible that was revealed by God. Not even was it written immediately after his departure. He did not order or desire at any time in his life to write anything on his behalf. Therefore, the Bible which is in circulation today is not a representation of Jesus' teachings.

Out of the total of 27 Books of the New Testament, more than half is authored by Paul. As opposed to Paul, the Master has not written a single word of the twenty-seven books. If you can lay your hands on what is called "'A Red Letter Bible," you will find every word alleged to have been uttered by Jesus - in red ink and the rest in normal black ink. Don't be shocked to find that in this so called Gospel of Jesus, over ninety percent of the 27 Books of the New Testament is printed in black ink!

None of the original manuscripts have survived from the early Christian period. The most ancient complete manuscripts (Vatican MS. No. 1209 and the Sinaitic Syriac Codex) date from the fourth century, three hundred years after Jesus’ ministry. But the originals? Lost. And the copies of the originals? Also lost. Our most ancient manuscripts, in other words, are copies of the copies of the copies of nobody-knows-just-how-many copies of the originals.

    3-

The Qur’an did not quote from the Old and New Testaments, even if there were similarities between them.
Because the Abrahamic religions come from one God (the Father).

Previous prophets were sent to a particular group of people and their message was supposed to be followed for a particular time period. Since previous revelations were time-bound, (Judaism and Christianity )
God did not preserve them Himself.

the Quran cannot be compared with the previous Scriptures. The Quran is unique in many aspects. It is the final revelation to mankind. Previous scriptures were sent to their respective people only. The Quran is universal.

So God promised to protect the Quran

    God says in the Qur’an
    (9) Indeed, it is We who sent down the message [i.e., the Qur’ān], and indeed, We will be its guardian.

There are no changes in the Quran and we all know it.

We all know the Quran today is exactly as it was revealed.

We literally have 1400 year old Quran's to verify it, not to mention its always been an oral tradition. Millions today can recite the Quran cover to cover from MEMORY and it has always been this way.

I frequently point out all those who hate Islam today can't find the ability to change a single letter. Look at China, a nation of a BILLION. They have went on record saying they will write there own Quran and this was how many years ago? Where is it?

And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful. (2:23 Quran)

1400 years and many haters of Islam have lived and died. Where is their Quran? Why do we only have one Quran today?
Why has EVERY generation failed to produce one surah

To this day there is one Quran. In the original language that it was revealed in.

Indeed God has claimed in the Quran kareem that He himself protects it and we see the proof of this today.

Compare this to the 20,000 changes!! in Bibles today. So many you yourself have to select specific versions.

    Christ spoke the Aramaic language

However, you will not find the original source of the Bible as a reference for Christians in the Aramaic language, but only translations in different languages such as Greek and other languages. You do not have a reliable and original source to correct the mistakes of the writers and the incorrect translation.

Since it was written in a language that most people do not understand, which is the Aramaic language, and they claim that Christ was sent to all nations, although he was sent only to the lost sheep of the Children of Israel.

Every prophet came to convey God's message to his people according to their language

    secondly

The Qur’an is in Arabic because the people of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, used to speak Arabic

But wait, the Qur'an is universal, not only for Arabs

Because you have an original source for the Qur’an, which is the Arabic language in which the Qur’an was revealed, even if there is an error in one of the translations to interpret the meanings of the Qur’an.
You have an original source to correct the translation

Islam is universal religion and holy Quran and islamic narrations and supplications are translated in to almost every language in the world.

the door of salvation, happiness, prosperity and felicity is open for all mankind in the universe.

Actually, there is NO Command in either Quran or Ahadith that it should ONLY be read in Arabic

Imagine, if you can’t understand Arabic, what would be the point of having it then?

You can read in any language you understand

Quran came in Arabic because it was best language, with maximum capacity to contain meanings and depth, thus Arabic being a biggest vessel for greatest Book is best match.

Though it is best to know Quran in original language but it is not a pre-condition. Arabic should be learnt. Most non-Arabic Muslims learn how to read Arabic, and they read in Arabic with help of side by side translations.

A Quran as Book must have Arabic text, then any translation can be given.

It is commanded to convey message of Quran to all world. It will be impossible to wait first to teach everyone Arabic then convey. Convey in their language. Learn and teach them Arabic too.

It is universal in the sense that anyone can become a Muslim. Speaking Arabic is not a prerequisite to becoming Muslim.

If a person wants to understand the Quran they can either learn Arabic (and the associated knowledge) or they can go to someone who already has.

If a non Arab wants to understanding the Quran then translations in every language are available.
