I had no intention to post a thread about this Political Show Trial Circus, but I made the mistake of turning on the TV just moments ago. The default is the local Spectrum Cable Progressive News Channel with live coverage and there was Chairman Liz Cheney making a conspiracy rant about the overturning of our Government that makes no rational sense at all. No such serious threat ever existed no matter what was posted in Tweets or said by anyone or any marginal organization period.

How can anyone in any position of authority state anything other than "opinion" when the entire 2020 election process of mass mailed ballots to all persons registered and last minute arbitrary election law changes all but guaranteed fraud would be difficult to detect let alone prove.

I don't know who won the 2020 election and we will never know, but I right to protest still exists regardless.

I don't believe the election was stolen, but for people who did believe that, they had the right to protest (not riot). Especially since the Dems spent four years telling us the 2016 election was illegitimate, and Biden has already told us the upcoming midterms may be illegitimate. But Biden's win in 2020 was the most secure election ever, right?

Why persecute people in a rational manner when you can label half the country as domestic terrorists?

Liz Cheney also attacked fellow Republicans directly saying Trump will be gone someday but your shame in supporting these activities will continue. First off who supports any lawbreaking at the Capital other than a rabid few?

What we are not doing is making it out to be the insane charge of "insurrection" or threat to the Government of the United States when it clearly was no such thing.
