    They were well fed and trained of course. Could lick peanut butter off your finger and never bite. We even had them jumping short distances over an open space for food and not easy because they don't see well.

    They are very intelligent creatures and they aren't naturally dirty - they just pick up a lot of dirt on their fur if their environment is dirty. People are off-put by animals that have hairless tails. Those African rats are kind of cute with their big ears.

    That's not true. If not for all of the creatures that eat the food that man throws away, we would be hip deep in stinking garbage. It's easier to appreciate rats if you've ever had them as pets.
