When I was eight years old I saw the movies Treasure Island and Captain Blood. I knew from watching these movies I was not a little boy, I was actually a pirate. I went around singing "Yo Ho Ho" and saying "Arrrrrr" before each sentence. No one could convince me I was not a real pirate.

Fortunately, my parents were not woke and did not immediately schedule me for surgery to remove one eye and fit me with a peg leg.

He makes a good point. Rushing a child through gender-changing can be a mistake. For decades, we've realized a child under the age of 18 cannot consent to a legal, binding contract because they're not emotionally mature enough and the other party can take advantage of their ignorance.

Now, we seek to allow children to partake in medical procedures that have a much greater potential of harming them.

Maybe that make sense in cult-minded world of progressives, but normal folks understand kids need more time and more maturity before taking such steps.
