A man 'won't pay puppy support' after his dog gets another pregnant... A MAN is refusing to pay vet bills and expenses after his unneutered dog impregnated another pet.

Taking to Reddit, the man asked if he was in the wrong for not contributing towards the bills. His post has received almost 14,000 upvotes and 1,500 comments.

About four months ago, while he was away on a work trip, his girlfriend invited her friend Taylor to stay with her on the farm. Before arriving, Taylor asked if there was room for her dog's crate, but the man told her that she could not bring her dog since he would not be home. He explained: "She arrives, she has her dog. In heat. My GF (girlfriend) told her she could bring her. "I offered to pay for her dog to go to the local kennel since I'd be gone, my GF and Taylor said I was controlling. I told them I just didn't want to leave room for issues."


He warned Taylor to keep her dog on a leash and supervised while outside. This caused him and his girlfriend to fight again, but he had to leave before they could resolve it. "Taylor left the day I got home. Weeks later her dog had puppies," he said. "Gf admitted they only put Taylor's dog on the leash when my cousin was over, and let her run the rest of the time."

Sorry, but the owner of the female dog failed to supervise and make sure she didn't get pregnant. I'd refuse to pay as well. She was warned.

Why did this even make to to social media for approval or no?

He could have offered to help, but I don't see the obligation.

He isn't obliged to help.

If his dog had been a champion in its breed, he might have cause to sue for dilution of the bloodline that could negatively impact his dog's status as a champion stud.

This is just me--but I think I'd keep my dogs, dump the girlfriend, ban the other gal from ever setting foot on my property, and then just enjoy life with my best furry friends.

Why would anyone in their right mind bring a female in heat into a home with a male dog and then let it roam freely? This would be akin to letting your promiscuous 17 year old daughter have a sleep over with five of her male friends!!
