A lot of folks simply do not understand that the electricity used to charge cars must be supplied to the grid. They may think there are plenty of wind turbines to supply that power. But, they haven't been paying attention to the growing number of blackouts due to intermittent power sources not being able to supply enough power for household use.

A rude awakening is coming.

The wool has been pulled over the eyes of many--and I tend to think it's criminal in nature because people are dying from extreme temperature situations when the grid goes down.

Right now, the grid in many areas is on the verge of constant collapse due to the over-saturation of intermittent sources of energy.

We need FIRM sources that we can rely on. Not pipe dreams.

The opposite is actually true. Wind generators typically can produce more power at night than during the day.

And many, if not most, newly planned utility-scale solar generators are being designed with integrated battery storage, so they can time-shift the availability of their output.
