This really is hilarious. “Errant theories”? I’ve been dealing with this issue for years in my job. Everyone in the utility industry understands that wind power generation generally peaks at night. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

(And, FYI, this is one of the key selling points for offshore wind. Onshore wind production peaks at night, but offshore wind generally peaks in the afternoon and early evening, when demand is highest.)

You really sound stupid right there. What Republican does not use electricity?

And no one was afraid of electricity, planes or automobiles because of party.

And while you scream change then where is the electricity? Where are the charging stations? Shat about the poor fools up north that find out their battery charge does not take them far in freezing temperatures?

Since we use fossil fuels to make most of the electricity in the USA, then what the hell are you talking about?

No link, but I heard that the battery backup in the US can power the US for 11 seconds.

I have no doubt that batteries will be greatly improved over time.

We will never be all electric.
We have to produce oil or you will not be able to but most of the products that you use today. You will not even be able to buy an electric care unless they start replacing plastic with wood. Your computer will not have a circuit board. Those are resin. All you weather resistant and high strength plastics, resins and epoxies come from long chain polymers that you are not going to be able to produce with soybean and sugar cane.
That means the 65% of a barrel of oil, now used for gas has to find new uses or go down the drain.

I am all for renewables that are not subsidized. Government subsidies only make things more expensive.

I will have one electric car/truck when I have to replace one of my current ones but I'm not going to put out 80 grand to save 2 grand a year like these idiots in the White House think I should do.
My other car will be gas for longer trips.

Solar is a financial scam. Currently it also is old on subsidies that tell people that they can get others to pay for their electricity. Wait until they start getting the bill for replacing the electronics and batteries. Wait until they have to replace the roof and have to pay to have the panels removed and reinstalled.

This pressure campaign from the left is over in 2024.
Today solar is a financial scam. In the future it won't be.
