WoW and long term relationships

I read a message today from a woman who met her husband while playing World of Warcraft and has played WoW together with him for more than a decade. When I first started playing a couple in my guild got married online and within the game. I saw them play almost every evening.

The woman above reported that her husband, best friend, and WoW guildmate died. She left the game for months. Every time she starts again she is reminded of him. She wanted to know how she can get back into the game.

I had no answer.

Time. When she is ready it may even help her to get back into it.

I met my husband around a Dungeons and Dragons table. Different from WoW in that we were all sitting there in person. I was the Dungeon Master of course. I like every turn to be my turn. Plus, I had the rules memorized and I wrote a good story.

I play WoW alone. I know people who play.............but I won't play "with" them. I started playing what is now Classic WoW with a group including my husband and sometimes 2 of my sons and other real life friends.
