It is a clear indication of their 'community values' when they are allowed to fully 'express themselves'. Yes, they're 'more conservative' when in cities that don't feel compelled to pander to loons and deviants. In SF they have no controls on their aberrant and sick 'cultural values'.

I, too, know a few gays that don't like the exhibitionism of the parades.

I just don't see how they get by with being buck naked and not get arrested.
Yes, I think the public has had enough of 'swinging pendulums'. What was 'avant garde' and exciting at Woodstock or the French Riviera is now just some perv on a bicycle today,

Many cities have such areas and they tend to decline much more rapidly then neighborhoods where socially accepted and understood rules are kept.

Those areas tend to get many young gay men in particular, coming from all the smaller rural areas. It's a party all the time atmosphere and there is a lot of drug use, so there are drug related problems as well as sick predator serial killers who target gay men.
In quoting my post, you affirm and agree that you have not been goaded, provoked, emotionally manipulated or otherwise coerced into responding.

That's been the history in most places and why many escape to the burbs. And then the pattern repeats itself.

Respect for others is disappearing as quickly as thoughtful speech and good manners.
