We have evidence rules for a reason - because this type of testimony is inherently unreliable. Aren't you even remotely uncomfortable with the total abandonment of evidentiary protocol?
You do understand that the Federal Rules of Evidence don’t apply to Congressional hearings, right? Her testimony is inherently reliable, given that she testified under oath under penalty of perjury. She’s a life-long Republican and Trump staffer. She has no incentive whatsoever to lie. If someone wants to testify under oath that she’s wrong, we can revisit the question, but absent that, she presented very credible evidence that Trump was complicit in the violent attack on Congress, and, frankly, should be criminally charged.

    What about it?
We heard that conservatives condemned the riot on Jan. 6. And Trump was slow to act. But this is known.

If Trump wanted to go to the capitol, but he wasn't allowed to, doesn't that mean he wanted to address the crowd earlier, and directly? So he was prevented from acting earlier, in the manner that he wanted to. Or are we to come to the conclusion that he just wanted to go to the Capitol to try to hang Mike Pence?

    1. Yes.
    2. They all testify under oath under penalty of perjury - in every court in the country, Richard. And nooooobody lies. It is inherently unreliable.
    3. You well understand my point and you yourself would not accept that testimony as reliable anywhere - except as against Trump. You know it and I know it. That's a major problem.

    Are they allowing that?

Are they allowing the "other side" time to rebut the finger-pointers, er, witnesses?

Triggered I see. Excellent. If Jesus Christ came down and pointed at Trump and said "heresy" the same cult would swear it was all a witch hunt. For fckkk sake these are all insiders, trumpers, his trusted circle. They are lining up and finally telling what they heard and saw and all we get from the cult is............."letss hear his side, witnesses lie, harumph harumph"...........Imagine when grown supposedly adults CONTINUE to believe the carnival barker over so much dammning evidence and testimony. And dozens of books by people he appointed and trusted..............by ALL MEANS put the idiot up there under oath (LMAO) and hear what he has to say........it would be MUST SEE TV.........and Even Gulianni. That would be priceless. All that "evidence " he had about stolen elections.............

Put him under oath and let an adversarial attorney cross examine him. Otherwise Jesus would be guilty of telling tall tales.

Lol. She has no incentive to lie and was extremely credible. You’re upset that anyone would point out the truth about Saint Donald, but the reality is that Trump’s desire to overturn the results of the election was so extreme that he was prepared to send a bunch of armed thugs in an assault on Congress.

An un-cross-examined tale is tall. That is all.
