    Men Going Their Own Way

Men Going Their Own Way (MGTOW /ˈmɪɡtaʊ/) is an anti-feminist, misogynistic, mostly-online community advocating for men to separate themselves from women and from a society which they believe has been corrupted by feminism.[2]

The community is a part of the manosphere, a collection of anti-feminist websites and online communities that also includes the men's rights movement, incels, and pickup artists.[3]

Like other manosphere communities, MGTOW overlaps with the alt-right and white supremacist movements,[4] and it has been implicated in online harassment of women.[5] The Southern Poverty Law Center categorizes MGTOW as a part of the male supremacist ideology.[6]

Sadly, Feminists are toxic. Any man who is searching for a mate and considers a Feminist........is asking for trouble. He should run away fast. Staying single is better than that.

MGTOW might be going a little too far, but maybe it's better to be safe than sorry.

I ran into someone who is very bitter.

I am not. I married a very good woman, had two daughters with her, raised them, and stayed married for 42 years. The regrets I have are more about me than about marriage.

But today, I am happily on my own. I doubt I would ever want another woman in my life beyond simple friendship.

There is bitterness on both sides and many times it is warranted.

I hope that there are still enough people who are simple, honest, and have no nefarious agenda running behind the scenes to keep our society moving forward in a successful way.

I need my husband and enjoy him in my life. There are jars that I just can't open by myself. All kidding aside, he is my best friend - and well beyond that. If anything happened to him, there could/ would never be a replacement. I'm not sure, though, how well I could live alone. I'd probably have to invest in a big dog of some sort and hope I could do the shovel work.

I think it is stretching things to refer to anyone in that group as a "man".

Is it being bitter or refusing to be a sucker? I already dislike government enough, the last thing I want to do is get into a contract with them.

MisterV thinks it's 1980. The marriage rate has declined dramatically since then. I tend to agree that decades of feminism have played a role in that.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

A lot of our resident boomers are stuck in a time portal and still think we're in the 60s-early 80s.

    Yeah, I noticed. It's understandable, I suppose.
