And, I just discovered Netflix made a series about swatting and he's in it.

No mention if he showed a weapon or gave them any reason to shoot.
    Let's go Brandon !!!

I believe the swatter got prison time for that one.
On accident? How do you do something like that "on accident"???

What I remember was that the cop thought the man reached for a weapon. He hadn't, of course. The man didn't have a clue. I don't recall for sure but I think there was a big payout to his family. I'll have to do a little research.

Edited to add... the accident part was that the swatter had the wrong address.

If that happened at my house to my husband.........the money would not matter. Nothing would matter again as far as I would be concerned.

The police later took questions from the press and did not deny that it was a so-called incident of "swatting" where someone will call 911 and make a false report of intense violence in hopes police SWAT teams arrive and engage with the person at the location.
While not releasing the name of Bannon, Carroll said that the home housed a "residence with some sort of business connection," and that when police arrived, the occupants of the house were "shocked" by the police presence, but were cooperative.

This morning right at the beginning of War Room something briefly happened. Maybe it was this. Bannon, ever the professional, never broke stride.

It is a shame we won't find the leftist who did this.
Same thing has happened to Tim Pool. In fact, it's happened more than once.

And this should be a reminder to conservatives that at any moment, the cops can break down your door for no legit reason and kill your ass. And they'll get away with it, too. Luckily, that didn't happen this time, but others have not been so lucky.

There are two parts to this story. The more obvious part is the degenerate leftist sickos who do this kind of thing. But arguably just as important, if not more important, is the police state. The idea that armed government agents could kick down your door at any moment, for basically any reason they decide, would have been totally unthinkable to the founding generation. Easy to forget that part of the revolution was fought to keep the government from quartering troops in people's homes. But quartering troops in homes is a far cry from them having the power to break down your door and shoot you like a dog, for no legitimate reason whatsoever, merely because the government agent in question, who had no right to be on your property in the first place, claimed they were scared. Fact is, if there were no police state, there would be no threat of swatting. Leftist weirdos would have to find some other way to try and hurt their political opponents.
