Now we know the dems have the CIA in their back pocket;



I bring this up because in multiple forums I see conspiracy theorists promote the idea that CIA, FBI, Justice dept. etc are in on the take over of govt. by dems. Just because they stood up to a wannabe dictator and would not carry out insane dicates from said idiot, didnt make them lean left. I would hope all of our branches of govt. and agencies would resist any and all dictates from rogue politicians.

Or when a prez places 3 new (settled law) justices on the court and LOW AND BEHOLD Roe V Wade is not law anymore.........talk about independent...........we can at least chck agencies with a much better leash than USC appointees.

There was no “settled law” as far as abortion is concerned. In 1973 the Supreme Court wrongly took an issue away from the states. Recently that issue was placed back in the hands of each state where it belongs.

The Democrats had absolute power many times since 1973 to codify Roe vs Wade into constitutionally compatible law. They failed to do so. Now the states will work it out for themselves.

I can see why democrats/liberals would think so but if you look at the 14th I think you will see how iffy the 73 court's rulings was. It's a short document, unlike our modern laws sometimes a thousand pages long.
I have asked several people upset with the SC ruling in June, to do that and get back to me and none have.
I think it might make for an interesting discussion.

Brown v Board was settled law. Plessy v Ferguson was settled law. Slavery was settled law.

Like when the IRS resisted the urge to target and silence conservative organizations in the run-up to the 2012 election? ... or when it gave Romney's tax returns out? you mean that agency? The most powerful of powerful governmental agencies?

...or how about when the FBI lied to get FISA warrants on Trumps people? You mean then? Then covered it up? Then? Or, when it lied to Congress about the dossier?

Or, how about when Brennan lied to Congress about the CIA improperly spying on staffers and American citizens. Or when Brennan lied about not including the Steele Dossier in intelligence briefings?


Yep... independent, non-political agencies.

But that's different.
