Exclamation Chinese ice cream don't melt even when blasted with a blowtorch...

A Chinese ice cream brand goes viral after their products don't melt even when blasted with a blowtorch...

A Chinese brand once dubbed the "Hermes of ice cream" has come under fire after internet users said some of its products do not melt -- even when baked with a blowtorch.

Videos showing Chicecream's ice creams staying solid when lighters were held to them went viral, revealing they did not fully melt when left in a 31 degree Celsius (88 degree Fahrenheit) room for an hour or under a very hot flame. "We believe that it is not scientific to judge the quality of ice cream by baking, drying or heating ice cream," the brand said in a Weibo post that scooped up over 168,000 likes.

AFP could not verify the videos, and the stabilisers -- a food additive used to preserve structure -- commonly used in mass-produced ice creams have been widely approved for use, including by the US Food and Drug Administration.

So, what does that ice cream do to your insides, if a blow torch won't even melt it?

Who the hell buys Chinese ice cream? Have we gotten so stupid we can't even make our own ice cream anymore?

I buy Blue Bell exclusively. Its the best ice cream in the known universe and entirely made in Texas or Alabama, two fine, upstanding Southern American states.

I have seen this same thing done with hood brand ice cream sandwiches.

I think most of the ding dong cart type ice cream treats would exhibit this same fake ice cream characteristic. And yes this is imo why the far and large majority of people die from cancer today, nearly everything we consume is laced with some type of cancer causing agents it seems imo.

I was going to say, is this some sort of fried ice cream? Until I looked it up and realized, I never knew what fried ice cream actually was even though I've had it...
