Ricky Martin's Attorney Says Allegations of a Sexual Relationship with His Nephew Are 'Untrue'
Have you ever noticed that Democrats seem to live very strange lives? Livin' La Vida Loca is right!

Republicans have had plenty of false allegations made against them - does that make them weird as well? In fact, they claimed that Trump peed on $#@!s - does that that he lives a very strange life?

I think it certainly made people like John McCain weird, as well as the people manufacturing the allegations. Mitt Romney (aka, Pierre Delicto) is also quite weird.Originally Posted by DGutleyIt certainly makes the Democrats bizarre for manufacturing such claims. However, I don't think of Trump as ordinary at all. He's certainly led a fairly unconventional life. He has sort of garish tastes.Originally Posted by DGutleyIn spite of the fact that I think the investigation into him was politically motivated, I think it's a great thing that they nailed Denny Hastert. I'm sure there are a few other bizarro characters among the Republicans as well.Originally Posted by RichardMZhlubb
However, with the Democrats, we're just seeing them get stranger and stranger almost deliberately. Most aren't. There is a pretty huge difference between people in political circles and people in ordinary life. Around 30 years ago, Democrats used to be primarily a party of working class people. Today, it is increasingly something of a freak show. Gone are the days of Dan Moynihan, Bill Bradley, Sam Nunn, Scoop Jackson, etc. Today, it occurs to the Democrats to have Karine Jean-Pierre to represent the president to the press, because she is a black homosexual, or to elevate transgender men in the military and so on. It seems like there are a very high number of statistical outliers among senior Democrats politically, but when you look at high profile Democrats among non-politicians, you also get a lot of weirdness. Harvey Weinstein is an example. Jeffery Epstein similarly was a big Democrat donor.Originally Posted by RichardMZhlubb
Being accused of wrongdoing doesn't necessarily mean you are guilty. However, there isn't any political motivation against someone like Ricky Martin. There's possibly some financial motivation. However, the people who leaked the details are very close to Martin, irrespective of whether he and they are on good terms.
I think it's really odd to hold up Ricky Martin as a typical Democrat, when I don't even think he's eligible to vote in presidential elections as a resident of Puerto Rico. And while he supported Biden, he also supported George W. Bush before the Iraq War.
That said, if you want to compare celebrity presidential endorsers, you guys have scum like Ted Nugent (who has admitted to sleeping with underage girls).
