    Wildlife day

I had a work meeting in Syracuse today and saw twin fawns hold up traffic to take their time crossing the road on the way there and a bear going hell bent for election crossing the road on the way home. Ran up a slope I'd need mountain climbing gear to take.

That's the trip that people from cities who fly in to Syracuse and drive north talk about "nothing but trees for miles" they will often say.

Saw some concerts in Syracuse in my older tamer concert going days but in my youth we liked to go to the Saratoga Preforming Arts Center in Saratoga, NY. Outdoor amphitheater with a covered area and a large open grassy hill. The kind of place that would not let you bring in booze, but where you lit a joint took a drag and passed it to never see it again. But another would be along soon. Lots of frisbee, no fights.
Saw Charlie Daniels there and I am so old we lit lighters at the end, not phone apps.

    Anyone ever been there?

Not to the amphitheater but we did make a pilgrimage to Saratoga Springs yearly for the horse races. It is the only horse race track that I could compare to Keeneland for beauty.

S.P.A.C. is one of my favorite venues. Saw two Dead shows there (lol), the first show, the marshmallow fight in the balcony was so epic, that the next year they specifically were targeting bags of marshmallows at security..."Drugs? sure, bring 'em on in." "Marshmallows? Sir, I think you need to come with me..."
