    THE Goat has passed



    There is a play in the video where he runs down Jerry West for a block. At one time they were regarded as two of the starters if you picked the greatest five players of all time. Add Oscar, Wilt and maybe Baylor or Pettit. Pettit is interviewed in the video. My dad always said Oscar and Russell were the best he ever saw.........

    It’s essentially impossible to truly compare players of different generations. But Russell was absolutely one of the best of all time. Thanks for posting

    Yup, he’s certainly in the conversation. I don’t put him at 1, but if somebody does it’s definitely fair.
