    A Letter to Liberals

    I am an FDR/Kennedy liberal, but my choice to openly question government policies for managing the pandemic—under both Presidents Biden and Trump—has made me pariah, primarily in liberal circles. Many traditional liberals—reacting to the orchestrated fear and propaganda—have embraced “Lockdown Liberalism,” an ideology that departs dramatically from the tenets of traditional liberalism. Like Galileo’s colleagues, so many of today’s “Lockdown Liberals” refuse to read or debate the science that they believe supports the government’s COVID countermeasures. Instead, they place their faith in the official orthodoxies of famously corrupt pharmaceutical companies and their notoriously captive federal agencies and expect others to do the same. This blind obedience is itself a kind of novel virus that now infects the entire upper deck of the Democratic Party.

    Then are they really Liberals of the FDR and FDR era or are they Progressives aka Socialists too embarrassed to use the name?

    Actual JFK Liberalism wanted government to solve problems not be a nanny state. His concepts like the Peace Corps were volunteer services not big government programs. That is something that Conservatives also agree with.
    JFK was a tax cutter to inspire the economy and it worked as it has ever since then.

    JFK promoted higher education and research.

    LBJ was the progressive welfare President that screwed it up. He knew it and did not run again.

    It has never been restored.
    Thankfully the current SCOTUS deleted their copy of that memo. This was a very successful term in bringing the US back to the Constitution and out of the Post-Constitutional rut the US was stuck in.

    SCOTUS affirmed the Constitution in many areas to include the 2nd Amendment, federalism, and separation of powers.

    As an added bonus this has infuriated all progressives and some liberals.

    The King (Congress) controls all of the money, food, and fuel. The only say we have in any of those matters is the pittance we are allowed to keep, to shop at the company store (King's Merchandise) Loyalists knew no other way to live than at the foot of the King.
    All of the King's representatives in the Colonies were absolutely corrupt as were the policing forces.
    It maybe that we have reached the point of feeding The Tree of Liberty. Good God, I hope not
