I think some State Department gesture should be made but not too much, like this is all that serious a human rights violation rather than personal STUPID!

I don't know, but, the picture someone posted, it's clearly a man, an adult female doesn't have breasts like that, no matter how manly......they were man-breasts.....and, the upper body was definitely male.

She certainly has some male attributes, but I don’t think she’s trans. Masculine in a lot of ways for sure, it I believe she was born female.

If she wasn’t a public figure, the sentence would probably be much less severe. That’s the only reason the State Department should step in. There are literally thousands of Americans serving time in foreign countries for drug and other criminal charges. I don’t think the US is in a huge hurry to get her back.
