The democrats running for office here, are focused on the abortion issue, the campaign ads are nothing but.
They are totally ignoring the issues of inflation, the border, crime .....etc....and are going after the Republican candidate's stand on abortion, making it their main focus.
"LET'S GO BRANDON!"
Yeah, it makes you wonder if this will end up hurting Republicans. Other issues are being neglected because this was brought to the forefront.
We are still waiting to hear if Trump will be jailed, executed or neither. But in the meantime, this really could have an impact on what happens in November.
Only headline on abortion that I've seen in the last week was the one I posted from Alveda King on Easy abortion access has created a ‘black apocalypse’.
Democrats are too busy going after Trump.

What the stated reason is is not necessarily the actual reason.
Other than the stated 'prescription BC failure', rape or incest, the rest of the reasons ARE about using abortion as birth control. There is no dodge around it. Bad timing, life choices, didn't think I could, so on are all about abortion being used as birth control. They rolled the dice, and came up snake eyes. Period.

I don't think it will have that great an impact. Those that wholly (rabidly?) support abortion choices, will vote Democrat, just as they would have before. Those that may support abortion choices, but it's not much of a personal issue, will more likely see the economy et al as driving factors. Those that are pro-life will vote the same way they always have.
Us independents will have to vote on the most important issues - and while I am pro-choice, RvW is not a driving factor in my voting. The economy and the drunken sailor spending of money and passing of garbage pail bills on the backs of the public has got to stop, and I see only one way to do it. Pull the pegs on the bottom, to cripple the top.
