We will probably get along fine if you do visit awhile. I have taken my kids to this old Florida motel for years.download (5).jpeg

I thrive on humor, without it I might as well be embalmed.

    Pink Floyd? Not so much.

My taste in music is a bit....eclectic.

Pink Floyd made some excellent music. They had their share of garbage as well.

This is an example of their good stuff.

I always preferred the older Pink Floyd music, the stuff they made before they got huge in America. A lot of it was inconsistent, but the good stuff was really good, and creative. I lost interest in them after Rodger Waters left the band. Not that I don't like David Gilmour, but when Rodgers left it seemed like it became Gilmour's solo band.

Waters wanted to end the band, and didn't like that they carried on without him. But he didn't really have a leg to stand on there, because when Syd Barrett had to leave the band, they moved on without him. I definitely believe they had the right to continue without Waters. But my enthusiasm was dampened. I guess Waters and Gilmour couldn't get along either, and still can't, like so many rock duos end up.

Early Floyd is the best. Anyone who says otherwise is a stinking commie.
