    Best luck to you!

Thank G-d I did not start smoking -- I did smoke a few times. I am addicted to overeating. Best luck from a fellow addict!

    How often do you exercise?

I agree i quit cold turkey and had enough of paying 7 bucks a pack, first month was hell no doubt.

It gets easier though, once the nicotine gets out of your system the withdrawals are much less. Hard parts are when your drinking, driving in your car and the toughest one imo is after a meal. Whatever you do, do not bum smokes from other people, it will always lead to you buying a pack, in fact it might be best to avoid others who smoke all together for a few months, let them know it will bother you! It is not easy to quit if others around you are blowing the #@#@ in your face.

Think of it like this Montana, you will now have an extra close to 300 a month in your pocket that was essentially going up in smoke before. That alone is some pretty good incentive...

Now that i haven't smoked for well over a decade now, the smell of it is disgusting to me. All i can smell now from a person who smokes is dirty ashtray.

It really is a terrible habit and a difficult one to kick, best of luck to you!

    He's right, Montana.

One day, maybe without even planning it, you'll just say, "I've had enough of this crap" and be mentally prepared to go through a month or so of discomfort. And the extra drugs the makers put into them will convince you that just one more smoke and then you'll quit. Don't listen to these urges. Tell them to piss off and, eventually, they will. Good luck!

We are all brothers and sisters in humanity. We are all made from the same dust of stars. We cannot be separated because all life is interconnected.
