    Amazon Kindle Reader

In the middle of the night I found myself wide awake. It happens.

I set up my bed desk, put on my reading glasses and turned on my gaming laptop. I decided to read something so I launched my Kindle Reader App software. It installed a new version of the Reader.

I read a great deal so I have plenty of books, about 11,000, to choose from. Something new and wonderful showed up, the ability to read documents and pdfs I have accumulated over the years.

I have long had a habit of spending between one and two hours everyday looking for interesting, useful information online. When I find something I want to save to reread I used a small browser app called send to Kindle to convert a page to a format I can send via email to my Kindle account. I have many thousands of such documents.

    This capability is amazing!

I started my middle-of-the-night reading with a brief history of JRR Tolkien, then moved on to a half dozen documents. After several hours I realized I was drowsy enough to sleep again.

    Amazon has delighted me.

I stretch for nearly an hour every day. I walk throughout the day.

Are you suggesting morning exercise will change my sleep pattern?

I have the kindle app on my phone and laptop. But I generally use the e-reader, Kindle Paperwhite. I like it a lot.

Not based on what you describe above.

I have three PCs, each with the Reader app installed. I have a 10-inch Kindle, a 7-inch Kindle and a Paperwhite.

I am on my workhorse computer watching the documents count rise. "8962". That may not include all of the pdfs I have accumulated and created. For a while I was scanning all of my many thousands of collected magazine and news clippings. I kept resource files for potential book ideas.

Anyway, it is like a rediscovered gold mine.

I have had Kindle tablets too. Hard to read outside in the sun with them and they are battery drains. I like the Paperwhite the best. If I travel I will take my laptop with me anyway, so don't need the Kindle Tablet. (My laptop screen does detach and act like a tablet- a large one.)

I adjusted my attitude. I bought a bed desk and a high end gaming laptop. Now I use the time, usually to read, for one to two hours.

What is a Bed Desk? I may want one.
I read a lot of books, too.
