Yesterday I received an email from one of my best friends which I found puzzling. He tells me that he’s moving his boat out of our marina and going to be living somewhere out of our area and won’t be in contact with any of our mutual friends any longer. He just said “I did something bad and I need to go alway.”
So, I called him and to my surprise he answered his phone. I asked him what’s going on and he told me that he just got caught having an affair with another one of our mutual friend’s wife and it had been going on for more than a year. He said that he’s getting death threats from several of our friends.
They really were good at keeping their affair secret until he screwed up. My buddy left his phone sitting on the bar at the marina and the woman’s husband opened the phone to see who it belonged to and found the evidence.
