Winter Prepping

Luckily I do not have worry about that but I am thing about moving some hydroponics into my office for the same reason as you. Fresh greens and maybe a few vegetables. I just need a good safety plan because I have real hardwood floors and I saw what a leaky shower pan did to the floors in the hallway.

The way this country is headed, you'd be better off growing some sensimilla, instead of consuming big pharma drugs. At least you'll be happy, laughing a lot , and eat a lot of Doritos and vitamin fortified, cheerios.

It depends on where I am during the winter, as to what I do.

Here, nothing to do except maybe having the heating system checked out, to make sure it's up to snff.......it's just 4 years old, so.......we don't get snow, we don't get Temps below freezing, usually....we can easily get to town.

The other place, haven't wintered there since 2017 but, it involved laying in firewood, we cut, split our own, insulting the horse trough, hoses, receptacles, stocking the hay barn, getting the propane tank filled, freezer and pantry stocked, diesel for the tractor........we're 55 miles from town there, not that easy to go get groceries in a snow storm, there's a Family Dollar in the small town of 400, about 10-11 miles down the mountain.

It's actually looked pretty darn good to me right now.
