Stereotypes about men and women.

Some stereotypes are based on ignorance or malice. Other stereotypes are based on Statistical Reality. But even the latter stereotypes are deeply flawed in many individual cases.


In my opinion, women are generally more sensitive then men. I am not sure if there have been any studies on the subject, but it seems to be the case. Nevertheless, it does not mean that there are no men who are more sensitive then most women. One picture is worth a thousand words:

That is horrible but likely true. I guess I must start working on my shape and working out (mostly walking) more.

Yes this stuff has been studied. Women have a certain part of the right side of the brain that is larger than males. That part of the brain is where we get our need for interpersonal relationships from. Empathy, compromise, feelings, and other feel good stuff comes from that. Men have a certain part of the left brain that is larger than females. That is the logical problem solving side. We get assertiveness, aggression, desire to protect and provide, from that part of the brain.

In children, these brain regions are almost identical but start to change when puberty is reached- that is when the sex hormones really kick in.

The good news is the more over weight you are, the faster you will lose weight assuming you are putting in the correct effort.

CC, you might also attempt to attain some sort of real world knowledge about women, from a variety of different sources and perspectives, rather than simply reading this or that "men are victims" screed from incels and the like.
