I wonder if Japan has many nuclear weapons?

Back to the topic. Does Japan have nuclear weapons? If so, how many do you think they have?

What about Taiwan?

Both countries have the ability to create weapons and both countries have reasons to believe America is waning and lacks the steely resolve to help to defend them from China.

Both of them could build a bomb in absolutely no time at all. Japan can enrich uranium far beyond what their nuclear power reactors require, I'm unsure about South Korea. I would be surprised if we had nukes in Korea, I mean, what for?

Remember, we detonated atomic bombs in the 1940's. this isn't new technology, indeed, it's 75 years old. Most nations who can build a bomb still haven't solved telemetry issues, they cannot launch an intercontinental missile with any accuracy, they cannot guide the missile.

North Korea a good example. They're improving missiles, but they do have a nuclear weapon.

I remember their last launch showing how Guam could be exposed. In response, the US sent a sub out off the coast of Florida, and launched a Trident that hit near North Korea. Impressive.

Smart move. The Navy can launch from ship, aircraft, or sub, I see no reason to keep a nuclear weapon in South Korea.

Probably true. They were fairly far north too. I am sure DANK SF units would have been all over it if the North wanted to attack the South.
