Even with genetic outliers who can withstand the stress on muscles and joints, long distance running may also calcify your arteries. I run no more than 6-7 miles at a clip so I am not at all concerned. My volume usually caps around 21-22 miles. Marathon training entails 5X the distance on a weekly distance basis. 80 miles a week wouldn't be unusual. There is a point of diminishing returns.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Currently no. I am in the middle of a 1 million step challenge and you don't get steps swimming. Once that is over I may add in one swim day per week.
I did swim a lot when the COVID made people insane and most of the gym was shut down. Somehow it was safe to swim but not lift iron. And to handle the need, they allowed, or actually forced two people per lane. And you had to make an "appointment." Once the weight room opened back up I stopped the swimming.
Also, every 6-8 weeks I need to take a break from the weights to deload- rest and recuperate. I will probably fill that week with a lot of swimming.
