We used the Mark 19 when I was in the 4th division. I remember the barrel being shorter.

When I was at FT Lewis there was a unit in the 9th ID which was experimenting with dune buggies. They had MK 19’s.

I heard about that.
I was always light infantry. Airborne, Air Assault, Mountain. No heavy stuff.
Even though I know that is history crap, I still prefer it. The future won't be us.
