Health update

Thank you for the advice. Yes in certain situations it could be really helpful. In my situation it is a nervous system issue that affects my heart and blood pressure. Rest in Peace to your father. I'm glad it was able to help him.

I thought I would share an update on my health. I was feeling pretty down for a while. I was stuck in my chair not able to get up for several months. Many others with my condition have to use a wheelchair. I decided that wasn't going to be my reality. Instead of a wheelchair, I bought myself a new pair of walking shoes, and as an added bonus a new lavender dress to go with. : )

It took a bit, but I made progress. I began with pacing in my living room, then I walked to the end of the street, the next day I turned the corner and so on. On my last walk I made it around the block.

I was able to take a quick trip down to the sea by myself for the first time in a while. I'm still not recovered all the way, I have good days and bad days, but I am off to a good start. It was an amazing day when I put on my dress, and my new shoes, and was able to walk outside with the trees again. There's nothing like it.
