Neither stocks or bonds are behaving "normally." Biden has placed us into stagflation that will be very difficult to get out of. It is Biden's fault.

If it's that big it's going to be a huge job push mowing it, too big IMO. If you don't have a rider I would probably keep your lawn guy. You could buy a rider, but then you're not going to be saving money, except maybe in the long term. I have a rider but the maintenance on it can be a pain in the arse. Seems like I'm always repairing something on it.

I may keep him through next fall. I am transitioning from grass to plants in the back yard. I have also planted apple trees.

Those trees are in the back, horse pens and, east and West sides of the property.

I too, love the smell of the desert, especially after a rain, Greasewood and Sage........I'd plant some Bougainvillea, I had some in Tucson but, my husband hates them, they have those thorns and, he's the one who always had to trim them.

We did have a couple of Cat Claw trees, those things are brutal, you cannot trim them without ending up bloody, no matter how careful you are, they produce pretty yellow, sweet smelling flowers but, we knocked them down with the tractor.
Cats claw is very medicinal. I'm taking a break right now but I normally drink one cup of cats claw tea every single day. Too bad about the thorns that would be the perfect prepper plant for if shtf. It can lower blood pressure, is anti-inflammatory, ant-viral, immunomodulating, anti-cancer and so much more.

    That's awesome!!!

Wow, I didn't know all that. There's still one cat claw out front, on the outside of our fence, that we leave alone, except for an occasional trim, because if we took it out, we're afraid the neighbor's company would park their cars there.

The husks are dark green but I tried to peel one off the other day--I stuck my thumbnail into the husk and it turned my thumbnail a dark, icky brown color. I had to soak my hand in bleach to get it off. Those things are potent!
