    Fan catches 2 million dollar historic homerun ball

    https://www.foxnews.com/sports/aaron...caught-anotherCory Youmans, a Texas Rangers fan, was helped out by security to keep him and his prize safe. He told reporters he hadn’t "thought about" what he might do with the ball, which could reportedly be worth millions. Memory Lane auctions has already offered $2 million for the ball, Sports Illustrated reported.

    That b.s. started in Chicago in '69 with a guy who was pissed at Hank Aaron, and has spread to other places like a cancer. It's a completely fake "tradition". I have seen adults screaming at small children (not their own) because the kid did not immediately throw back an opposing player's home run ball. All MLB parks should start enforcing their rules that call for a fan who throws anything onto the field to be ejected, and see how long the "tradition" lasts.

    Of course those balls don't mean as much when they come from the other team. Now a Hank Aaron ball would be a stupid thing to throw back. But he was probably about 500 HR at that time

    Fantastic. It's nice to see the people paying the bills make good in the entertainment industry once in a while. Push em up to 3 million but offer to sell it to the swinging mountain himself for a dollar less.
