I'm just shocked that this thread wasn't placed in flame out. I made a comment saying that I have never seen an ad on this site because I use ad blocker and my comment ended up in flame out.

I just checked. It wasn't moved because of the content. It was moved because it was posted in "Political Cartoons and Memes" and it got swept up in a general cleanup of off topic posts.

How much money does the site need to run each month? VMs aren't all that expensive these days. We should be able to support it without ads. I use Brave, so I never knew this was an issue.
