Climate brats strike again & my two cents

Welp the climate activists strike again, this time they threw mashed potatoes on Monet's Les Meules paining. Luckily it was unharmed. This painting sold in 2019 for 110 million dollars. Destroying our art is insane, it is part of our history and culture. It is ridiculous to target art.

I am all for not polluting the air and water and coming up with new tech to make it happen. These kids believe that they have to do something shocking like destroy art, in order to bring attention to their cause they believe that it is life or death.

What these kids don't understand is that their cause has been hi-jacked by people who are actively reducing the population as we speak, we used to call it murder or genocide. These kids don't understand that if we stop fossil fuels without implementing other technology first that millions or even billions of innocent people will die.

I believe that the war with Ukraine and Russia is all part of reducing our consumption of oil and gas, and also part of population control. We will never be told how many people in third world nations have already died due to starvation from this conflict. These kids don't understand the full scope of what is taking place in the world. I also believe inflation is part of reducing our consumption to preserve resources. The inflation is clearly by design.

The only thing they will accomplish with this stunt is making it so people have to go through heavy security before they enter an art gallery and can only view them from behind thick plexi glass, or only having replicas on display. People doing things like this, take away from everyone else.

"Two climate activists threw mashed potatoes at Claude Monet's "Les Meules" and then glued themselves underneath the painting on Sunday. Museum Barberini in Potsdam, Germany said on Twitter that the painting was not damaged during the incident.

Last Generation, a climate activist group based in Germany, claimed responsibility for the action on Twitter. The group posted video of the incident, showing the activists wearing high-visibility orange vests and flinging mashed potatoes on the work before gluing themselves to the wall beneath the painting.

"If it takes a painting – with #MashedPotatoes or #TomatoSoup thrown at it – to make society remember that the fossil fuel course is killing us all: Then we'll give you #MashedPotatoes on a painting!" the group tweeted".

We are all brothers and sisters in humanity. We are all made from the same dust of stars. We cannot be separated because all life is interconnected.

I believe the stewardship of this planet belongs to each and everyone of us. I do my thing, because in respect to it, it's the right thing.

These twits are doing more harm then good. They make people look at those who believe we can improve the way we do things as all being nut jobs.

Tomato soup or mashed potatoes, besides being a waste of food, the twits in this last even were wearing vests, yes? And what were those vests made of....

How is destroying or vandalizing works of art relevant to the cause of global warming?

And, how dumb is it to glue your palm with superglue to a wall? If you get pulled away, there goes the skin on your palm.

I'm not making excuses. Whether they're kids or adults -- they don't think well.

Go bite someone else's ankles for a bit, okay?

You have been nothing BUT troll for quite a while now. FK is right about the ankle biting, and it's annoying.
