First, at the risk of sounding like I'm trying to make this all about me, I have to say that being characterized as "from the left", when so many of my views are anything but, is strange, and leads me to believe that I'm not explaining myself as well as I might be. Arguing that an American citizen cannot have his or her property shanghaied, whether to deliver a message or to prevent one from being sent, is not a particularly "left-ish" position.
Secondly, I'm by no means blind to what's going on with some politicians, or to the pressures to which they're subjecting social media outlets.

However, as the writer suggests in the article's last paragraph, the best answer is to target and punish those politicians by voting them out of office.
