That's how I do it, more or less. I take a smoker rack and put the bacon on it and then put that over a baking sheet. About 30-40 minutes at 390 for thicker cut bacon gets it crispy.

I do mine in the air fryer. It turns out great and 10 minutes and it's done.

I've been cooking bacon in the oven for many years. It's way better than cooking it in a pan - it doesn't ripple or curl in the oven. However, the bacon still has to have evenly distributed fat, or you can end up with the lean part overcooked before the fattier part is crispy.

I got a BLT at a gas station with a deli, they took the (precooked) bacon and threw it in the deep fryer for about 10 seconds it was really crunchy, and surprisingly good.
