Speaking of bombing and facilities, the Allies could have bombed the rail lines to the camps. They didn't. Not only would that mean less bombs to drop on German industry, the Final Solution was a resource drain on the Nazis.

I have no problem with the truth about the Ukraine. My father lived in WWII Poland and he told me about the Ukrainian collaborators who were shipping Poles off to concentration camps. It really affected his attitude toward Ukrainians. Like you, I don't understand ignoring the popularity of Neo-Nazi views in western Ukraine or how their government can arm these Neo-Nazi paramilitary thugs and turn a blind eye to their atrocities in eastern Ukraine unless they actually support purging the cultural and linguistic Russians from the region. It's not a popular view because we are supposed to regard Putin as a demonic megalomaniac and Russia as hopelessly corrupt. Well Putin isn't exactly my cup of tea but Ukraine is a corrupt cesspool that has been declining economically for years because of its own corruption and it has been mistreating the people in the east from the beginning. As for Zelenskyy, he's an opportunist of the highest order and doesn't care how many of his people die in this conflict. Perhaps he thinks that after all the dust settles, the west will inject mass quantities of cash into the Ukrainian economy and bring Ukraine into the EU fold.

I don't hate Ukraine, but I'm not particularly sympathetic either. If no one was helping them, this war wouldn't have lasted very long at all and fewer people would be dead. The eastern territories would be independent and that would be the end of it.

Many Poles also collaborated with the Nazis. There were pogroms in Poland even after the war. You should be a little more charitable.

Nevertheless, this was still quite different than what occurred in Ukraine, where western Ukraine happily collaborated with the Nazis in hopes of obtaining their independence from the Soviet Union, going so far as forming a Ukrainian division of the SS.

I see no evidence that this is true. Do you have any? Yes, anti-Semitism was rife in Poland. That's partly why some Poles collaborated even while resisting the Germans in other areas.

There is no "western Ukraine" in this case. The Ukrainians were trying to negotiate through difficult waters. Can you blame them? Again, you should be more charitable. The Polish record is hardly stellar. At least the Ukrainians stood to gain something.
