Trump started it by firing needless insults at DeSantis.

First, you're right. You don't know me. Accordingly, you be best served by assuming anything about me. Second, I'm not a Republican, and I never have been. I've been a registered Independent for over 40 years.

I don't care who the MSM 'casts shade" on. I pick my candidate and I support him, right up until such a time that candidate, and not the media, gives me a reason to not support him (or her)...

I support many of Trump's policies and positions. I have a problem with the fact that he conducts himself like an insolent child...

That should tell you something about Trump, shouldn't it?

I voted for Trump in 2016 and again in 2020. I don't see supporting him a third time, especially when there's someone like Ron DeSantis waiting in the wings to finally be the new face of the Republican party...
You should learn to read, before you mouth off because I told you that you was not being used as you personally.

So carve it up anyway you want and be a ungrateful little beyatch and run from those that served you well.
    Let's go Brandon !!!

I voted for Cruz in the 2016 primaries, then happily voted for Trump twice. I'd vote for Trump again without even thinking about it.
But I'd like to see DeSantis run. Yankee Republicans tend to not be all that conservative when you get right down to it. And DeSantis is well spoken when articulating conservative positions.

That said, for me, it's 51/49. I'll gladly pull the lever for either one in 2024.

I think we do ourselves a disservice when we start badmouthing one or the other. A simple indication of preference should be enough, or at least tastefully expressing why you don't like a candidate.

Save the vitriol for Democrats and Republicans that vote like them.

But DeSantis was just elected Governor for a four year term and would have to campaign as governor. Is time at all factor here?

I believe that Trump recognizes the fact that there's a strong possibility that he's no longer the Republicans that people are looking to to "make America great again"...

This thread is GOLD! Only now are Republicans realizing the massive mistakes they made when they doubled-down on a reality TV show host and a semi-successful New York real estate rich guy. 1st when they elected him and 2nd when they supported his outlandish accusations of voter fraud in the richest and most powerful nation on Earth.

Only now are they realizing that they basically elected a Kardashian and are having buyers remorse after they got their ass handed to them in mid-terms that should have been a walk in the park.

The true irony to all of this is that Trump just may have convinced the majority of America that Socialism is a better option than he is…

Better late than never to WAKE the $#@! UP I suppose.
I find your lack of faith...disturbing...
