Using the back button doesn't work? Sometimes logging out and back in clears out some wonkyness.

Using the back button works for me.

Also note you can click on your username and get a menu that will take you to your recent posts in chronological order. From there you can see if someone liked or responded by clicking on them individually back to the thread.

The quote notifications stay there until you clear each one but you have to use the back button with the thanks. Just check each 'thanks' and then go back back back however many pages until you see the list again.

That's what I do.

The issue is that once you click notifications and click on one, the list is cleared. I do one of two things.

1. Click on a notification. When done, just the Back function (mouse or browser). This will take you back to the list of notifications.

or

2. When you click on a notification, open it in a new tab- that keeps your notification list alive in the original tab.

I'm having a slight issue with notifications.

When I log in, I'll see something like this:

It tells me there are three new notifications.

So, then I click on it, and I get this:

That tells me if those notifications are for likes or responses on my posts.

I'll then click on the yellow highlight and it will show a list of posts for which I've received notifications:

I'll then click on the first one, and it will take me to the pertinent post. Thus far, all is grand and right with the world. However, when I click on "notifications" again, so I can click on subsequent posts which have received responses, there's nothing left to click, as seen in the highlighted block here:

As we know, an active thread can generate numerous likes and responses. Unfortunately, unless I'm able to commit the entire initial list to memory (and I'm not), I'm unable to get to anything past the first post I click on.

Does this make sense?

I'd be indebted to whoever can explain how I might rectify this.
