Ringo had a kit like that once

As a drummer I can tell that sounds better than many drummers kits. Not sure how he did that. I'd like to see what he could do with a proper kit.

Yeah. Drummers either hate him or think he is the greatest ever. I personally have no issues with him. he has some talent but would like to see him actually play in the pocket and see what he really sounds like.

Kind of like Yngwie Malmsteen among guitarists, I guess.

Haven't heard that name in a long time! But yeah although Malmstien definitely has shown to have more musical skill.

I remember my sister had a couple of his albums when I was a kid. I like the Classical influence in his music but it's not for everyone. I heard him much more recently on a Dio tribute album. He added a new dimension to one of Ritchie Blackmore's solos that I thought was awesome.

Malmstien was definitely listening to Blackmore as a kid.
