What type of beer do you usually drink? Sierra Nevada Pale Ale was my go to for years. Wife picked up a sixer of Great Lakes Christmas Ale recently, 7.5% alcohol content, so you can't exactly be chugging them all night, lol. Very tasty though.

I'm a lager and wheat ale man. A friend suggested I try Allagash White to replace the Bavarian wheat beers for a while. I think it's from Maine. I know Sierra Nevada but I don't think I have seen Great Lakes around here.

I like lagers, but am not a big fan of wheat beers. Blue Moon is a Belgian style wheat beer, and probably the most well known American version.

Early iterations of IPAs weren't bad, like Red Hook, but some have certainly gone too far with the hops.

You know wheat beer is also known as white beer (I don't like btw). I got a kick out of the police officer's choice at Obama's beer summit. I am surprised the legacy media didn't pickup on that.
