Eating it probably helps your immune system anyway. People who are sheltered from anything "dirty" grow up sickly.

I'd rather just have a dog in the house. That takes care of the exposure to microbes.

I am very picky with shrimp. I grew up on the Gulf and have high standards.

Yes, this was Baytown, TX. Lots of fresh shrimp to be had there.

I can understand the FDA allowing some alteration of food. We couldn't afford perfect. But cigarette buts?

The "cigarette butts" are for the smoked foods.
