My Pecan trees haven't made pecans yet.

They may just be too young, about 20 years now.

Or they may be the wrong combo. Pecan trees are each either M/F -- male flowers before female flowers --, or the opposite, F/M. In order for trees to set fruit, there needs to be both F/M and M/F trees mixed together in the area, so that the female flowers can receive pollen from male flowers.

As far as I know, I have the only two pecans in the area. They may be of the same type. Pecans will cross-pollinate with Hickory trees, but my one hickory tree is too small. Pecans will not cross-pollinate with Black Walnut or Butternut trees.

My fervent Thanksgiving wish is to have all left wing Marxist nutjubs hit by lightening and having their brains turned to mush and their bodies confined to cold dark places where they can do no harm.
Devotion to the truth is the hallmark of morality; there is no greater, nobler, more heroic form of devotion than the act of a man who assumes the responsibility of thinking.”

I can imagine it’s tough to be that angry. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
