    Will the moonbattery never cease?

Just to review the D election results:

    HOUSE: WON - 213 LOST - 221
    SENATE: WON - 18 LOST - 18

    NET: WON - 231 LOST - 239
    More 1776, less 1984.
    Make Orwell Fiction Again.

But they are pretending that they won.

Obviously some sort of mental issues that caused them to vote to destroy their country has created a malfunction in the part of the brain that processes reality.

Wow, quote the red wave. Lol. With the economy where it is and a Democrat in the White House, are you happy with these results? If so, good for you.

This is why you can't take these people seriously. If the Republicans did not do good because they did not win the senate then the democrats did not do good for losing the house.

While no one is denying that Republicans are taking the House, it is a victory for the Democrats in a sense. Historically speaking, the party in power typically loses seats in mid term elections. Particularly when there are economic issues. Republicans were predicting a red wave that never happened. So while Democrats knew they would lose seats, the massive blowout that was predicted never happened.

No blue wave was ever predicted or expected. However, Republicans were certain that a red wave would sweep the nation. It never happened. That’s probably why many Republicans themselves saw this as a defeat.

The blue wave was the Democrats claiming victory after the election. A moral victory at best. I know the expectations game, but a win is a win and a loss is a loss. The Dems will probably get a 51st senator though.

As I said, in some ways it was a victory.

Democrats never claimed a blue wave was coming or has happened. Republicans and many experts were expecting a major victory for Republicans. The fact that it never happened was a huge positive for Democrats and most Republicans admit that it was essentially a defeat for Republicans, and specifically Trumpism. Most candidates that were outspoken Trump supporters lost their election bids. Trump himself has lashed out at Republican leaders for vastly underperforming in the midterms.
