Ford V. Ferrari, I assume you've seen it? Did you like it? This thread has encouraged me to watch it again...
I forgot about the scene at the end of the trailer, I shed a tear (of laughter).

wow! James Hunt. What a gifted and amazing wheel man
Awesome helmet cam
unbelievable
I’m in a Rat Rod phase now. I have a 57 Chevy short step side bed Apache truck now. Small block 350, mild cam and a torquer intake manifold with a Holley 650 carb and an old set of Hooker headers. A turbo hydromatic 400 transmission.
It’s probably around 375 to 400 HP. I’m a little leery to see what it will do because I’m not sure the Nova rear end will handle it. My buddies say it shouldn’t be a problem. It will probably crank out a 13 to 14 second 1/4 mile.
I’m not happy with the Holley carb. They are too finicky. I have an Edelbrock replacement, but I’m in no rush to replace it.
It’s been fitted with an aftermarket mustang 2 front end with disc brakes and a 74 Nova rear end. The disc brakes and power steering are awesome.
The body is straight, but it’s sanded rust / original paint shot with a clear lacquer. Rat Rod stuff.
I have a buddy who wants to trade my truck for his 51 Chevy with a modern V6 and five speed transmission.
