Don Lemon says CNN was never 'liberal,' insists new boss isn't transforming network

Many, many years ago, that was true, CNN was a great place to get news. Now it's not the place to go for liberal opinion and agenda.

At one point they promised not to not let any personality become larger than the news. That didn't last long with people like Larry King and Lou Dobbs but the still managed to keep it on a fairly even keel.

It may have begun with the arrival of Christiane Amanpour in the early 90's when they decided they wanted to develop their international and 'inclusive' creds and hire staff accordingly, without considering any biases, shortcomings, or unprofessionalism they might bring with them.

I don’t believe he planned it that way. He wouldn’t need to. It just happens naturally.


Unless an organization of any kind is completely dedicated to adhering to conservative principles, it shifts to the left.
